I'm on the field a lot! Every weekend during both spring and fall sports seasons almost all day! Why? Because I am a soccer referee! For the most part, I really enjoy being a referee. It gets me out of the house and active, and the people we meet are nice. The last couple of weekends I have really began to notice parents with cameras. There is nothing wrong with this, it is perfectly acceptable for the parents to take pictures of their children playing. Except that when i see cameras, more often than not, they are not being used. The camera stay on the person's lap or pointed straight up. As a parent, I understand! I do this with my kids activities also. You get so wrapped up into watching them that you forget about the camera. You know what?! You should be watching them! No one wants to look through a small circle to watch a game, you will end up missing most of what happens! But you also do not get those pictures to remember the game by. Let me help you! Bring me to the game, so I can take the pictures and you can focus on what is important--watching your child play!
I'm busy working on my blog posts. Watch this space!
