Newborns are typically younger than three weeks old. The best time to photograph them are between 7 and 10 days old.
A session usually lasts between three and four hours. We want to make sure that we give the baby time for snuggle/ feeding breaks if a baby starts to cry or become fussy. This also gives the photographer time to be patient and work with the baby.
Before the session we will meet to talk about poses you want, any siblings that could be included in the fun, and go over any questions you might have.
1. Please feed the baby to the point where the baby is full just before I arrive. This will keep the baby sleepy and content, until it is time to eat again!
2. Please keep the baby awake until I arrive. If the baby takes a nap right before I get there they are not going to be sleepy for the pictures.
3. The room/space where we are photographing should be 80-90 degrees keeping the baby warm and comfy.
